In 2007 the Austrian Airlines Group has set new transportation records: in total it carried 10,8 million passengers and over 150.000 tons of cargo and mail.
The backbone for this success is a reliable fleet, which grows every year, thus continually lowering the average age of the aircraft. The Austrian Airlines Group fleet is in the mid-range compared to other international airlines.
The different types of aircraft in operation allow to cover the full spectrum from primary intercontinental routes such as New York and Tokyo to the secondary destinations in Western and Eastern Europe.
