Dear Austrian Airlines Cargo Customer,

Effective 1st of June, 2006, The Government of India, Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise & Customs requires advanced EDI manifest information at house air waybill level for all inbound air cargo shipments.

There are three options available to you:

  • Option 1
    You you are already registered with Indian Customs and report to customs directly, you must insert your 16-digit customs number on the master air waybill in the Accounting Field.

    If you are sending a consolidation, please write 'CONSOL-DIRECT' in the 'Nature and Quantity of Goods' field on the MAWB so we can identify that you report directly

 

  • Option 2
    You do not report directly, but are able to send the FHL
    message to the Austrian Airlines Cargo System, you will have to supply extra copies of the consolidation manifest and all house waybills in a separate envelope to the station of origin.

    Please insert the text 'Please file data to Indian Customs on our behalf' in the Accounting Field of the master air waybill. n amount of € 1,90 will be charged per HAWB and must be added on the master air waybill under charges due carrier with charge code CG.

    For consolidated shipments the word 'CONSOLIDATION' must be shown in the 'Nature & Quantity of Goods' field on the master air waybill

 

  • Option 3
    You are not able to send the FHL
    message for each HAWB to the Austrian Airlines Cargo System, you will have to supply extra copies of the consolidation manifest and all house waybills in a separate envelope to the station of origin.

    Please insert the text 'Please file data to Indian Customs on our behalf' in the 'Accounting Field' of the master air waybill. An amount of € 7,30 will be charged per HAWB and must be added on the master air waybill under due carrier with charge code CC.

    For consolidated shipments the word 'CONSOLIDATION' must be shown in the 'Nature & Quantity of Goods' field on the master air waybill
